Powerhouse drummer extraordinaire and all round huggable bear, the almost legendary Jonny Sumo returns to Japan after a three year absence (bloody covid!) and will be catching up with a lot of old friends. He'll also be at a few gigs including Deep Purple and the Buzz Factory Vol 1 show at Bauhaus on March 12th. Come along, say hello and enjoy a bevvy!
WE SAY FAREWELL TO
ANVIL
We were mega-excited to welcome the Metal on Metal trio Anvil to Mendips and a it was a fond farewell at the airport. The return of Anvil to Japan was something Mendips had been looking forward to and they did not disappoint. We shall miss the banter and the stories (dinner with Dustin Hoffman!), but it won't be long before we meet again.
